A teenage girl has been raped and then set on fire on the terrace of her family home in India, police said.
Police were called to Tigri village outside Delhi following reports that a 15-year-old girl had first been raped and then nearly burnt to death after being set on fire.
Officers arrested a 20-year-old man at the scene.
Yadram Singh of Bisrakh police station said the girl was in critical condition. She had burns on 95 per cent of her body, local media reported. Full story...
