Honour killing: 8-month pregnant teenager murdered in India...

The case is being treated as a suspected ‘honour killing’, and this time it is in India. According to The Times of India, a teenager, eight months pregnant, was strangulated to death allegedly by her two brothers.

Her body was then thrown into a canal here. According to the TOI report, the victim was having an affair with a youth and her parents got to know about it.

A doctor in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, confirmed she was eight months pregnant .

It is alleged that her brother, a cousin brother Bhoore and a third accomplice took her to the canal where they strangulated her and dumped the body.

The girl's family members are absconding and the police have not yet made any arrests as far as the accused are concerned. Full story...
