Obama's liberated Libya: torture and killings go unchecked...

Just one year after the uprising in Libya which demanded Libyan Leader Muammar Gaddafi step down from power, Amnesty International reports that the very rebels the Barack Obama administration once called “peaceful protesters,” continue to kill and torture Libyans with the very weapons the Obama Administration provided them.

It was during Obama’s State of the Union Address where Obama proudly reminded the American people of his administrations accomplishments which included the “removal Gaddafi.” Obama justified providing weapons to Libyan rebels by saying that said rebels were “peaceful protesters” who were being murdered for simply seeking democracy. What many however chose to ignore or wash over is that many of the Libyan rebels were not simply “peaceful protesters” but in fact were and are today murdering thugs who like Gaddafi have no respect for human rights or human life.

Even those who make up the National Transitional Council (NTC) the same “leaders” Secretary of State Hillary Clinton met with (only one day before Gaddafi was captured and murdered in a “white flag” agreement to allow him to leave the country was ignored by US and French air strikes) have failed to do anything or even prosecute these “rebels” for the murderous acts being taken out against the Libyan people. Lets be clear here folks, these acts are being committed against the very Libyan people that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton said had to be provided these weapons in order to protect them from being slaughtered by Gaddafi.
