Bitter ex Galileo Milanesi buried the hatchet with his former wife - using it to behead her two pet cats and then cooking them for what he claimed was a reconciliation supper.
Relieved Milena Milanesi , 32, accepted the dinner invitation from her one-time husband after two years of rows following their divorce in Milan, Italy.
But after she'd tucked into a supper of rabbit stew, her sick ex revealed he'd just eaten her beloved cats Zar and Guglielmo.
"I was horrified - I ran outside and was sick and then when I ran home I found my two cats were missing," sobbed Milena.
