Blind man charged in court ... for drink-driving!!!

A blind man has appeared in court accused of three driving offences.

Derek Allen, of Clovelly Rise in Paignton, appeared at Torbay Magistrates’ Court wearing dark glasses and using a white cane to negotiate his way to the dock yesterday.

He was charged with driving a grey Daimler saloon along Waterleat Road in Paignton, having 116 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. More + photo...
