Australian athletes "treated like cattle" before CWG opening ceremony...

THE Australian Commonwealth Games contingent is outraged that its athletes were ''treated like cattle'' and subjected to ''disgraceful'' and unbearable conditions during the opening ceremony.

Australia's chef de mission, former marathon champion Steve Moneghetti, has complained about the athletes being trapped in ''absolute cauldron conditions'' under the main stadium on Sunday night before marching for the opening ceremony.

The athletes were stuck in a tunnel, where Moneghetti said it was 40 degrees. More...
