You forgot to mention the ASF-Pakistan, based in Islamabad, where the majority of these women who appear in the photographs about pakistani acid survivors go for medical and psychological treatment and rehabilitation. Also, the Acid Survivors Trust International, an organisation who supports acid survivors globally - www.acidviolence.org
    It's shocking at how wide-spread this has become. It's not only happening in Pakistan, but in fact it's happening in large numbers the world over.

    I don't know what it is about two-dimensional portraits of acid survivors but they are so hitting compared to meeting these women, men and children. They have life in them which can sometimes go amiss in photographs. But saying that, photography is genius for this particular issue. Look at photographer Jean Loncle - www.jeanloncle-photos.com
