Celebrities the bait for host of nasty computer viruses...

Beware searching the Web to scope out whether Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are still an item: It could destroy your computer.

McAfee, the anti-virus software maker, today releases its list of the 20 most dangerous celebrities in cyberspace. A Web search for these stars can send fans to sites that contain spyware, adware, spam, phishing, viruses and other malware fatal to computers.

Just ask Naperville mom Tracy Mooney, who is paid to post Web advice on her blog at www.McAfee.com/mom. Her son Zach, inadvertently downloaded a virus that hosed the family computer so thoroughly, it required a new motherboard. More...
