Foxy lesbian conned gullible gays out of £100,000!!!

A lesbian, who conned users on gay website chatrooms out of over £90,000, has been jailed for four-and-a-half years.

Joann Wood, 53, trawled online dating agencies for victims, telling them that she was terminally ill with cancer and needed money for treatment. 

Today, victim Catherine Wheldon told St Alban's Crown Court how she had lost her life savings of £28,000, and was now £53,000 in debt after falling for the lies.

David Chrimes, prosecuting, said that Miss Wheldon had been forced to return to work in order to clear her debts.

The court was told that, in all, Wood had conned her victims out of almost £100,000. More...
