Nearly 800 have become members of the controversial clinic, and 34 Britons are ready to go to Zurich for a lethal overdose of drugs, it was revealed today.

This represents a tenfold increase on the number of Britons who have joined since 2002.

According to Dignitas figures, 15 Britons died there in 2003, 26 in 2006, eight in the first five months of 2008 and 23 in the last 12 months, the Observer reports. More...
