WHILE pushing her baby in a pram, a black woman had acid thrown on her by a white male in a racist attack in Salford, Greater Manchester, on Thursday (March 22).
As a result, the 29-year-old victim of African heritage suffered burns to her chest and back but is in a stable condition. The baby narrowly avoided injury.
Police have issued an e-fit image of the man wanted in questioning over the attack.
The mother was out with her baby at 2pm on March 22 at the subway on Broad Street in Pendleton, Salford, where she was approached by the man who is said to be in his 40s. Full story...
