A local man was arrested and charged this week with repeatedly raping a 10-year-old girl while he was serving as the assistant pastor at an Enumclaw church.
Court documents filed by the King County Prosecutor's Office allege that Malcolm J. Fraser assaulted the girl over a period of several months in 2005 and 2006, when Fraser was 32 and the girl was 10.
The accusations came to light Monday when the girl, now 17, came forward and told Enumclaw police that Fraser had sexually abused her a number of times while he and his wife were staying with her family from 2005 to 2006, court documents say.
During that time Fraser was an assistant pastor at the small, nondenominational Sound Doctrine Church in Enumclaw. It was not immediately known if Fraser still works for the church.
According to court documents, the girl told detectives that Fraser came to her room after midnight more than 20 times while staying with her family. Full story...
