Students taking their HS exams at a Malda school on Saturday allegedly beat up the invigilators, ransacked the campus and tore up answer sheets of other students when they were stopped from copying.
Police had to be called in to control the situation. The incident comes merely five days after an invigilator was hammered on the head by a few students for the same offence' trying to stop them from copying at Madanpur-Jamadarpara in Nadia's Chakdaha.
Saturday's incident took place at the UCB School in Englishbazar, where the HS mathematics exam was on. Students of four schools are taking the test from this venue. The exam began at 10 am as usual. But soon after that, some students from Sahapur High School, who were taking the exam in room no. 2, allegedly began talking among themselves. More...
