The number of university students caught cheating in exams and coursework has risen by more than 50 per cent in the past four years, according to new research.
Figures published by the Sunday Telegraph show that more than 17,000 students were caught cheating by tutors in the 2009-10 academic year, with plagiarism the most common offence.
