A Bolton Wanderers fan has quit his £38,500-a-year job just so he can watch the FA Cup semi-final tie with Stoke.
Ian Wagstaff was a sheet metal worker in Australia and was told he could not have time off work to travel to the England to watch the game.
Therefore, the 52-year-old, who has been based in Brisbane for 23 years, decided to work out his notice in his Aus$60,000 job and travel 10,000 miles to watch the match.
