Claudia Schiffer 'given special treatment' on stranded Eurostar trains...

Passengers on one of the Eurostar trains stranded in the Channel Tunnel claimed that the supermodel Claudia Schiffer was given special treatment during the journey.

Miss Schiffer, who is thought to have been travelling in first class from Paris to London, alighted the train at Folkestone, while other passengers were detained on board.

Eurostar is facing serious questions as to why its trains ground to a halt inside the Channel Tunnel, trapping two thousand passengers for hours and throwing the travel plans of thousands more into chaos.

Gregoire Sentilhes, from Paris, who was travelling on Eurostar with his wife and three children to spend the weekend in London, said: "Claudia Schiffer was also on the train but a car came right by the train to pick her up from the entrance to the tunnel.

"Nothing for the other 2,000 people though." More...
