Two teachers of Government High School at Shirgaon village in Chikkodi taluk have been suspended for "allegedly" misbehaving with the girl students.
The accused, computer teacher Malagouda Kalappagol and assistant teacher Bharat Kumbar, had called the girls for "special class" on Sunday but "allegedly" behaved in an indecent manner with them. Interestingly, none of the boy students were asked to come for the "special classes".
However, the teachers were caught in the act when some curious villagers entered the school to find out why the school remained open even on a holiday. Nippani BEO R B Talwar suspended the errant teachers after the villagers staged a protest demanding action against the duo.
