Twin priests celebrate twins saints day in Kerala, India...

It was a different kind of congregation at a church in Kerala as 151 identical twins and three triplets recently took part in the annual feast of twin Catholic saints St Gervasis and St Prothasis.

To suit the occasion, two pairs of twin priests conducted the special service and another combine led the procession to mark the celebrations at the centuries-old church in Kottayam District on June 19.

According to parish Vicar Fr Joseph Puthenpura, the church could be the only Christian place of worship in the country to have such a fest in honour of the Italy-born twin saints. Interestingly, the parish with about 700 families itself has 55 twins, born over the decades. More...

Don't miss:

  1. Twins go on trial for assault but victim unable to identify the culprit!!!
