Now three senior judges have ruled that man breasts - or moobs as they are known - are not sexual objects.

The leading legal minds got to grips with the issue after an alleged gay Peeping Tom secretly filmed another man's top half at a public swimming pool.

Care worker Kevin Bassett, 44, was found guilty of voyeurism last year after using a video camera hidden in a plastic bag with a hole in it.

But yesterday the conviction was quashed at the Court of Appeal after the Lord Justice Hughes, Mr Justice Treacy and Sir Paul Cresswell ruled that only women have 'breasts'.

The 2003 Sexual Offences Act specifies that 'private parts' must be exposed during the alleged act of voyeurism, and this does not include a man's torso, they decided. More...

Gynaecomastia, or boys growing breasts!!

Obesity has been blamed for the growing problem of “boy-boobs” – cases of teenage boys with breasts so well developed that surgery is needed to reduce them.

Doctors at Alder Hey Hospital in Liverpool say that they are seeing dozens of teenagers every year with gynaecomastia, the condition in which males develop breasts.

Christian Duncan, a plastic surgeon specialising in obesity-related surgery, said that in the past 12 months he had performed at least 20 breast-reduction operations on young boys who had developed the condition.

Mr Duncan is treating others who do not yet qualify for surgery by encouraging them to make changes to their lifestyle, such as starting a healthy diet or beginning an exercise programme. More...

Chinese doctors baffled by "the man with the world's biggest boobs..."

Chinese doctors claim to have discovered the biggest case of man boobs in the world after a dairy farmer turned up at a specialist chest clinic in Beijing.

Doctor Zhang Lilan at the Jinan Chest Hospital said: "The man is in every way male except for his enormous breasts.

"He is a farmer and says they are extremely uncomfortable as he has to do a lot of manual work and they get in the way of everything.

"He said it has also attracted a lot of attention in the village where he comes from with people turning up to point and laugh at him, so much so that he now has to wear a heavy coat to cover up his figure even in the hottest weather." More...
