Back in 2013, Gates was talking about not if we get a carbon tax, but when. In fact, the billionaire was already talking about what “we” (meaning the elite, megacorporations, government cronies, Al Gore) should spend it on: “innovation”.
Speaking of “innovation,” Gates is making the rounds again to promote the fact that he’s invested $2 billion in just such green energy innovation through his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Why, what a big-hearted philanthropist who cares so much about the grave danger to the planet of the coming man-made climate change apocalypse… What are we, monsters? Why haven’t we been paying our carbon taxes and saving the planet already??
And you could almost buy it, too, if it wasn’t coming from the guy whose Gates Foundation is also invested in a wide array of the world’s largest oil and gas companies to the tune of $1.4 billion: Full story...
