EasyJet left a schoolgirl stranded at Stansted Airport as she tried to get home for Easter.
Deva Joseph, 14, broke down in tears when her flight to Spain went without her because she had too much hand luggage.
She said: “I was sat on the floor crying. I just wanted to get home, but they didn’t care. I was desperate, I was pleading.”
Deva hit problems when she was unable to fit her handbag in her suitcase and staff told her she was not allowed to take two pieces of hand luggage on board.
She tried to pay to put the bag in the hold but staff said they only accepted credit cards, which she is too young to have. Full story...
