The owner of a restaurant in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province, Central China, has erected a board in front of the premises stating that it refuses to serve those who do not show filial piety, those who have mistresses, those who spend public money for private purposes and those who do not believe that house prices will go down.
"Those who do not show filial piety or obey the rules of ethics are so different from me, I'm sick of these people", the restaurant owner Mr. Li, a People's Liberation Army veteran, told the Henan Business Daily. Li insists that the board he has erected is not a form of advertising.
According to Mr. Li, he is trying to deliver the message that, "My business is different from the others'. I don't care how much money I earn. I just insist that people abide by the principles of being a righteous man." Full story...
