Brother and sister Richard and Kirsty Finlayson - who admitted having sex in a lift - have been spared a prison sentence.
A judge at Hamilton Sheriff Court took pity on Mr Finlayson, 21, and his sister Kirsty, 18, saying publicity surrounding the case had left their lives 'in ruins'.
The pair were caught on CCTV having intercourse at Motherwell railway station in North Lanarkshire on 27 June last year.
The 21-year-old was seen giving his sister, who was 17 at the time, a £20 note afterwards, but she insisted he gave her the money 'as a brother, not for payment'. Full story...
