Swiss soccer team Sion threatens to sue Michel Platini and Sepp Blatter for Celtic "set-up"

SION chairman Christian Constantin has threatened to haul Michel Platini and Sepp Blatter into court after claiming the decision to put Celtic back in the Europa League was a set-up.

Constantin is taking legal action against both UEFA and FIFA in Switzerland over the verdict that saw them booted out of Europe after beating the Hoops in a play-off.

UEFA ruled Sion had broken a FIFA transfer embargo to sign five of the players who turned out against Neil Lennon's side and sensationally put Celtic back into the tournament.

However, Constantin has accused UEFA and FIFA general secretaries Gianni Infantino and Jerome Valcke of using blackmail techniques in the lead-up to the hearing.

And he has vowed to take world football leaders Platini and Blatter to court if he finds out they were involved. More...
