In what came as little surprise to most of the world, Saturday at 6pm did not see the end of the world - as predicted by US evangelist Harold Camping, who has mysteriously stepped away from the limelight since the weekend.
He said that, on May 21st 2011, 'true believers' would be Raptured to heaven and that Jesus would visit the earth.
However, when Camping's predictions fell flat the internet issued a typically scathing response - and spawned an acerbically witty practice known as 'Rapture bombing'. More...
