After spending weeks in a local hospital, South Indian superstar Rajinikanth is expected to be flown to Singapore on Friday night for further treatment, reported an Indian daily.
The popular 61-year-old actor has been undergoing treatment for gastroenteritis and pneumonia at Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai.
Quoting close family sources, the Asian Age newspaper front-paged Friday that Rajinikanth was booked as "wheelchair passenger" on a Singapore Airlines flight, and would be travelling under his real name, Shivaji Rao.
His wife Latha and daughter Aishwarya were expected to accompany the ailing actor, added the daily. More...
