"You cannot be friends with white people... they will Satanise you"

The South African Democratic Teachers' Union (Sadtu) on Friday distanced itself from comments by its Gauteng chairperson, who reportedly labelled MEC Barbara Creecy a "Satanist" and told union members not to be friends with white people.

Moss Senye was addressing about 1000 teachers at a mass meeting in Soweto on Thursday.

He called Creecy "Satanic" for implementing a "no work, no pay" policy for teachers after last year's public servants strike. More...
