Colombian police are investigating the fatal shooting of three young men whose names appeared on a list of 69 people threatened with execution on Facebook. A second list has now appeared listing 31 young women as panic grips the small town of Puerto Asis.
The hit list of 69 teenagers appeared on Facebook on August 17, two days after Diego Ferney Jaramillo, 16, and Eibart Alejandro Ruiz Munoz, 17, were shot dead as they rode through the town on a motorcycle.
Police at first thought the list was a hoax – but when a third young man on the list was killed five days later, they began to take it seriously. Norbey Alexander Vargas was shot dead on August 20. More...
