Work-at-home 'free info' scam can cost you big...

Con artists are piggybacking on the popularity of Google to pitch their phony work-at-home schemes that claim you can make thousands of dollars a week with very little work.

They offer to send you "free" information for a small shipping charge that is billed to your credit or debit card.

It seems virtually risk free. The Better Business Bureau's Alison Southwick warns it's not.

"What's buried in the fine print and often very hard to find is the fact that if you don't return these materials within seven days of asking to receive them, you get charged $50, $100 every month," she says. More...
