6th.stage victory for Cavendish as Cantador wins Tour de France 2009...

It was his sixth stage win of this year's race and he set the record for becoming the first cyclist to win six stages from a sprint.

He narrowly missed out on the green points jersey, coming second to Thor Hushovd from Norway by ten points.

After the race he said he was not disappointed: "The Champs Elysees is a dream for every sprinter in the world: to cross the finish line in view of the Arc de Triomphe with your arms in the air. More...
