Britain is facing a health 'time bomb' if parents cannot get youngsters playing outside.
Experts say they must move away from sedentary lifestyles, and put away computer games to experience 'playing out'.
But the poll of 12,000 parents found, on average, children spend an hour or less playing outside per day.
Prisoners serving life sentences in jail who must get at least 60 minutes under UN guidelines.
