Operation Midland: who are the nine people accused of being part of a 'VIP paedophile ring'?

In August 2015 Harvey Proctor, the former Conservative MP, held an extraordinary press conference in which he said that he and eight other men were being pursued by the police after being named as paedophiles by an alleged victim called "Nick".

Scotland Yard's Operation Midland was set up to examine allegations that children were murdered as part of a VIP paedophile ring operating in Westminster. The allegations centred on two locations - the Elm Guest House in Barnes, London, and the Dolphin Square apartments in Pimlico.

Operation Midland arose out of Operation Fairbank, an investigation into child sex abuse that was set up following claims by Tom Watson MP that the police should examine claims of a "powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament and No.10".

Here we profile the nine men, living and dead, who were named by Mr Proctor. Full story...
