Australia's wealthy Gina Rinehart's children describe her as 'fat' and a 'bully' in vicious lawsuit...

The children of mining tycoon Gina Rinehart, Australia's wealthiest person, have described her as "fatty" and a "bully" during a vicious court battle over the family fortunes.

Bianca Rinehart and her brother John Hancock, the two oldest of Mrs Rinehart's four children, claim their mother defrauded them of billions of dollars in mining profits.

Their case in the Federal Court is separate to a long-running but equally bitter dispute over Mrs Rinehart's control of the family trust.

In a series of emails that emerged during the latest case, Mr Hancock referred to his mother as "fat" and "fatty" while writing to his sister to urge her to join the lawsuit.

"You can send my correspondence and your reply to fatty (in hoping she will pay for your Mandarin education), but at the end of the day you will still come off second best," he wrote in an email in 2004.

Bianca Rinehart, who took the stand this week, said in an affidavit that she had been subject to "constant bullying" and was coerced into signing a deed that was set up to distribute the family's iron ore fortunes. Full story...
