These USB phone-charging bus stops in Paris are an amazing idea...

Sometimes, an idea is so simple, but so great, you wonder why nobody thought to do it ages ago.

These USB-charging bus stops in Paris are definitely an example of that.

We've lost track of the number of times we've needed to get in touch with someone, but have been stranded with a dead phone battery.

Sure, you can sometimes manage find a spare plug socket in a nearby pub or coffee shop, but that isn't always possible. And the cost of all of those unwanted beverages quickly adds up.

Being able to charge while you're waiting for your bus is much more convenient.

The high-tech stops have been paid for by as part of a deal with outdoor advertising company JCDecaux, so it's not even cost the French taxpayer any money.

Brilliant! Source...
