PAEDO pop star Gary Glitter has hired three prison inmates to protect him from attacks in jail, according to reports.
The shamed singer, who was jailed for 16 years for a string of child sex offences in February, is claimed to be flanked by the henchmen so no one bothers him.
The former glam rocker, 70, pays the cons with tobacco ordered from the prison canteen, The Sun reports.
Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, reportedly moved to High Down prison in Surrey from Wansworth jail in south London at the beginning of March.
It comes as the Daily Star revealed Glitter was placed in solitary confinement for his own safety after he was attacked behind bars in February.
The sex monster is reportedly now in his own cell on a block for sex offenders and "vulnerable lags". Full story...
