Balak Ram, 37, had been married for one week before he carried his wife into a hotel Bridal Suite on their honeymoon – and made the staggering discovery.
The mistaken hubby described his meeting with the disguised schoolboy as "love at first sight".
Hard-up bachelor Ram met his bride-to-be after paying dance troupe leader Hukam Singh, 35, to set him up on a date.
Mr Singh – who was paid £500 to find a bride – happily agreed to the challenge.
Just one week later, the successful dance leader introduced bachelor Ram to "29-year-old" beauty Raj Kumari.
After a romantic first meeting, besotted Ram, from the State of Uttar Paradesh in northern India, rushed to get the wedding finalised.
