A mother of four died of advanced cervical cancer after doctors misdiagnosed her tumour 30 times at two hospitals, her family has claimed.
Jeannine Harvey, 33, was wrongly told her excruciating pain was a result of nerve damage or a torn ligament and was possibly brought on by anxiety.
When she was finally correctly diagnosed with sarcoma in April it was too late to save her and she died in July.
Mature student Ms Harvey, from Rowley Regis, West Midlands, first complained about pain in her stomach and left leg in December last year.
After identifying a suspicious tissue mass, medics at Birmingham City Hospital told her she was suffering nerve pain.
Two months later she was told the mass had gone and she did not have cancer. Full story...
