Relatives of victims of the 1988 Lockerbie bombing called for an independent inquiry into the conviction of Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi after he died in Tripoli on Sunday.
All 259 people on board were killed when a bomb exploded on Pan Am flight 103, travelling from London to New York four days before Christmas.
Eleven residents of the Dumfries and Galloway town also died after the plane crashed down on their homes.
After protracted international pressure, Mr Megrahi was put on trial under Scottish law at Camp Zeist in the Netherlands.
He was found guilty in 2001 of mass murder and was ordered to serve a minimum of 27 years behind bars. Full story...
