Kuwaiti couple threw Filipino maid from their car, drove over her...

A Kuwaiti couple was sentenced to death for throwing the 34-year-old Filipina housemaid from their car and then driving over her.

A Kuwaiti Criminal Court sentenced the couple to death yesterday after they were convicted of first degree murder in killing the domestic helper, the Kuwait Times reported today.

"This sentence is a testimony of justice and comes in line with all religious canons which call for punishment of murder for criminals," said victim's lawyer Fawziya Al-Sabah. Full story...
