Around 2,000 people took part in France's biggest ever yoga session over the weekend.
They stretched together under sunny Paris skies with the Eiffel Tower as a backdrop.
The session was held to mark the UN International Day of Non-Violence which falls on October 2, the birthday of the Indian independence and civil rights leader Mahatma Gandhi.
Gandhi practised non-violent resistance to achieve his political ends.
"Everybody is excited, everybody is really here in honour of Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, it's the day of non-violence," said Elena Brower, a yoga teacher from New York who led the session. Source...
