Twenty-five dead in just one day in Mexican drug war...

Increasing violence has seen 25 people killed in just 24 hours in northern Mexico.

The deaths occurred in Nuevo Leon state, which is home to Monterrey, the country's richest city.

An attack on a police station overnight left one officer fighting for his life.

The windows of a police car were blown out in an explosion, while a fortified wall was riddled with bullets.

The bloody day also saw four traffic policemen gunned down on a busy motorway. Three of them were killed while a fourth was badly wounded. Full story...
