The Orissa high court on Tuesday ordered a youth, arrested for allegedly molesting a girl, to clean devotees' shoes at Chandi mandir in Cuttack.
Justice C R Dash granted bail to Suman Patra (19) on the condition that he would perform 'kar seva' at the temple for about two hours a week for three months and on two sureties of Rs 20,000 each. Justice Dash said Patra would have to report to the police station around 4pm every Sunday.
The police will accompany him to the temple, where he will have to polish the shoes of the devotees for about two hours. Source...
