The Israeli Prime Minister's Office has issued a vigorous denial of media reports that accuse Benjamin Netanyahu's wife of maltreating a foreign worker hired as a caretaker.
Tuesday night reports of Sara Netanyahu's mistreatment of the foreign laborer caring for her elderly father swept across Israeli local media, according to the Jerusalem Post.
"She mistreated me, shoved me and I was injured," the Nepalese housekeeper said. "Sarah Netanyahu also threatened to get me sent back to my country."
Natanyahu's wife, a controversial figure in Israel, has a long history of mistreating domestic staff, faced similar allegations less than two years ago when another housekeeper filed a complaint against her. More...
