Bleeding teenager who was robbed by London mob is a Malaysian student...

The teenager mugged in Barking by a mob during the London riots has been identified as a top Malaysian student.

Video footage of the incident showed a young man sitting on the pavement nursing a bleeding mouth, before a group of youths come along and appear to help him up - only to steal his possessions.

After being posted on You Tube, the recording went viral as people across the country expressed their disbelief at the callous acts committed by the rioters.

The victim has now been identified as 20-year-old Mohammed Ashraf Haziq, a first-year student on a scholarship at Kaplan University in Islington. More...
