A lawyer in Chicago has accused his opponent's counsel of bringing his attractive, young Brazilian wife into court in order to distract the jury.
Thomas Gooch complained to the judge in a Cook County small claims court that Dmitry Feofanov was using Daniella Atencia, 26, "to draw the attention of the jury away from the relevant proceedings".
Mr Gooch, 65, who is representing a car dealership, raised eyebrows by calling into question Ms Atencia's qualifications and referring to the size of her chest.
"Personally, I like large breasts," Mr Gooch told the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. "However, I object to somebody I don't think is a qualified paralegal sitting at the counsel table, when there's already two lawyers there, dressed in such a fashion as to call attention to herself." More...
