Double joy in Manchester as United and City win top soccer trophies...

Football fans in Manchester have double reason to celebrate after United secured their 19th league crown and City won the FA Cup final.

Man United set a new standard in English football after claiming the 2010/11 Premier League title.

The team only needed one point at Blackburn Rovers to secure the championship with a game to spare - and achieved it with a 1-1 result at Ewood Park.

In the FA Cup final at Wembley, a goal by Yaya Toure in the 74th minute was all City needed to collect their first piece of silverware in 35 years.

United's league triumph sees the club surpass bitter rivals Liverpool as the winner of the most English league titles.

The Merseyside giants held an 18-7 advantage over United when they claimed their last league title in 1990. More...
