Three youth who were spotted kissing and hugging the statue of a woman in the VOC Park on Sunday evening have been arrested. As BJP leader L K Advani addressed the election rally at the VOC grounds, loud hoots and screams were heard from the neighbouring park. Police Commissioner C Sylendra Babu, who was supervising the security for the rally, rushed to the park to investigate.
When they noticed the Commissioner entering the park, a group of youth fled the scene. Three youngsters who seemed to be drunk were seen hugging and kissing the statue. One of them clicked pictures of their kissing adventures.
