Christchurch quake victim's funeral on the internet...

The funeral of an Irish man killed in the Christchurch earthquake will be shown live on the internet for his family and friends in New Zealand.

The heartbroken family of Owen McKenna will fulfil his final wishes on Tuesday when he is buried on home soil in Co Monaghan.

His remains arrived at the home of his mother Teresa McKenna in Brackagh, Emyvale, late Sunday night, where he will be waked until his removal to the Church of the Sacred Heart in Carrickroe for funeral Mass at noon.

Parish Priest Father Sean Nolan said Mr McKenna had expressed some time ago his wish to be buried in Ireland. More...
