International arrest warrant issued for ousted Tunisian president...

Tunisia has issued an international arrest warrant for ousted President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, according to the country's justice minister.

Lazhar Karoui Chebbi has said charges against Ben Ali include taking money out of the country illegally.

The country is also seeking the arrest of his wife Leila, and other family members.

Ben Ali fled to Saudi Arabia on January 14 after 23 years in power.

He was pushed out by weeks of deadly protests driven by anger over unemployment and accusations of corruption and repression. More...
