A piquant 'security lapse' occurred at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium two days before the opening ceremony. A woman head constable and a male colleague of the same rank were found to have abandoned their posts. A senior officer traced the two to a room near gate number 14 of the stadium , where they were stealing a few moments of privacy.
While the incident " is being probed" , the two cops, it turns out, had fallen for each other while on duty at the stadium . Love apparently bloomed as they spent long hours at the venue. Both of them are unmarried. More...
